Welcome to CēVē!

I’m David Aylesworth, and I started CēVē to help drivers of all kinds -- commuters, delivery drivers, rideshare drivers, and more -- get where they are going faster and safer than ever.

In today’s information age, it’s surprising how little information is available to drivers, and what is available is often crowdsourced, inaccurate, distracting, and funded by annoying advertisements trying to direct you to the closest fast food restaurant or coffee house.

Think of the everyday problems we encounter while driving, such as turning onto a road and not knowing the speed limit, waiting at a red light and not know when (or if) it will change, being detoured by work zones and temporary road closures, or getting caught in traffic from a concert or sporting event that we didn’t know about. All of these events were known in advance, but the information is often unavailable to today’s drivers until it’s too late for them to react.

Fortunately, efforts to improve roadway safety, as well as research and development in autonomous vehicles, has highlighted the need to embrace technology and connect transportation infrastructure to the network. At CēVē, we’re leveraging these trends to provide this information to drivers using the commercial smartphones and wireless networks they already have.

Our CēVē mobile app provides real-time information to drivers to improve traffic efficiency and safety, and its flagship features include traffic light timing, speed limit warnings, and special event notifications. CēVē helps commuters, rideshare drivers and delivery drivers:

  • Reduce red-light frustration by receiving time-to-green-light estimates.

  • Receive optimal speed advisories to better time green lights, improving fuel efficiency, reducing vehicle wear, and reducing driver frustration.

  • Learn in advance of upcoming red lights to enhance safety.

  • Avoid school zones and high-capacity special events that increase vehicle and pedestrian traffic.

  • Avoid speeding tickets with speed limit information and configurable alerts for excessive speed.

  • Stay focused on the road with simple visual and audible cues for all features.

We are also working on features for smart work zones, providing access to 511 information, and protecting vulnerable road users such as cyclists and pedestrians. At CēVē, our goal is to connect all road users and roadside infrastructure to each other using emerging intelligent transportation technologies.

We are also looking to partner with municipalities, transit operators, fleet owner-operators, and last-mile delivery service providers to make them, and their drivers, more efficient and productive.

If you live in one of our supported regions then you can download the CēVē app today and experience it for yourself. If not, I encourage you to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we expand service into your area.
